For Prelims, focus on factual accuracy and key details related to the Guru Granth Sahib. Memorize the year of its primary compilation (1604) and the Guru responsible (Guru Arjan Dev). Remember that Guru Gobind Singh declared it the eternal Guru in 1708 and added Guru Tegh Bahadur's hymns.

Crucially, know the number of Angs (1,430) and Raags (31). Be aware of the prominent non-Sikh saints whose compositions are included (e.g., Kabir, Namdev, Ravidas, Sheikh Farid).
