National Cultural Policy — Revision Notes

Updated 19 Oct 2026

⚡ 30-Second Revision

  • 2023 committee report: development and recommendations, not proof of later adoption.
  • 29(1): right;49: Directive Principle;51 A(f): duty.
  • Diagnose need before choosing instrument.
  • Inputs ≠ outputs ≠ outcomes.
  • Participation and transparent selection matter.

2-Minute Revision

Cultural policy links public objectives with institutions, resources and procedures. Keep documentary and constitutional categories precise. Design support around the actual problem, provide recurring capacity where needed and evaluate relevant outcomes. A recommendation should remain a recommendation until authoritative evidence establishes a later decision.

5-Minute Revision

For three hypothetical needs—deteriorating manuscripts, unaffordable training and inaccessible exhibitions—choose one intervention and one outcome indicator each. Explain why a single publicity campaign cannot be assumed to resolve them. Add a sentence that accurately reports the status recorded by the 2023 committee.
