Prelims Strategy

Identify whether a statement reports a target, a projection, a recommendation or an observed result. A roadmap's publication does not prove implementation, and a desired 2047 outcome is not already observed. Read the document's own status before assigning legal or financial consequences to it.

For growth questions, update both numerator and denominator. Output of 220 with population of 110 gives the same per-person value as 200 with 100. Distinguish real changes from nominal values influenced by prices. For compound growth, apply the annual factor repeatedly: 100×1.06 to the tenth power is about 179.1, not the 160 obtained from adding six points each year.

In implementation questions, choose the indicator nearest the stated objective. Faster payments require evidence about payment time, not registrations or publicity alone. Interoperability can help services, but practical access, data protection and remedies need separate assessment. Avoid converting an intermediate activity into proof of the final intended benefit.
