For Prelims, focus on memorizing key facts: establishment year (2010), composition (judicial + expert members), jurisdiction types (original and appellate), excluded matters (Wildlife Protection Act), appeal mechanism (directly to Supreme Court), and number of benches (5 including Principal Bench).

Create a fact sheet covering NGT Act provisions, especially Sections 14-20 dealing with powers and jurisdiction. Practice questions on procedural innovations like liberal locus standi, burden of proof reversal, and six-month disposal target.

Stay updated on recent NGT orders and amendments, particularly 2021 rules changes. Use elimination technique by understanding what NGT cannot do - criminal cases, wildlife protection matters, and cases without substantial environmental questions.

Focus on landmark cases with specific outcomes and dates. Create comparison charts with regular courts and other environmental bodies for quick revision.
