NGT Directs States to Formulate Action Plans for Legacy Waste Management to Prevent Soil Contamination
August 2024The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has recently issued directives to several state governments, emphasizing the urgent need for scientific management and remediation of legacy waste (old, untreated municipal solid waste) in landfills.
