⚡ 30-Second Revision

  • League 1906
  • separate electorates 1909
  • Lucknow Pact 1916.
  • Religion ≠ communalism.
  • A claim to represent a community is not proof of unanimous support.

2-Minute Revision

Communal politics treats religious identity as a basis for unified political interests. Institutions and competition can encourage such claims, but communities remain internally diverse. Explain changing choices and relationships rather than projecting a later outcome backwards as inevitable.

5-Minute Revision

Classify three statements: a person attends worship; an association demands language education; a leader claims every co-religionist has the same political interest opposed to another community. Explain what additional evidence is needed in the middle case and why the third is analytically different.
