Thirteenth Amendment Act	1962	This amendment inserted Article 371A into the Constitution, providing special provisions for the State of Nagaland. It was a direct outcome of the 16-Point Agreement signed between the Government of India and the Naga People's Convention in 1960, which led to the creation of Nagaland as a separate state.	Granted significant autonomy to Nagaland, particularly safeguarding Naga customary law, religious and social practices, and ownership of land and its resources.
