It also adjusted the financial arrangements between the center and provinces and modified electoral procedures for provincial councils.	Improved the practical functioning of dyarchy and addressed initial implementation challenges, though the fundamental problems of the dual system remained unresolved.
Government of India (Amendment) Act 1930	1930	This amendment extended separate electorates to additional communities and modified the franchise qualifications. It also made provisions for the Simon Commission's recommendations and prepared the ground for the comprehensive 1935 Act.	Further entrenched communal representation and expanded the scope of separate electorates, contributing to the deepening of communal politics in the lead-up to the 1935 reforms.
