42nd Amendment	1976	The 42nd Amendment strengthened the executive's role in foreign policy by adding 'treaties, agreements with foreign countries and implementing of decisions made at international conferences, associations and other bodies' to the Concurrent List. However, this was later moved back to the Union List, reinforcing central government and PMO authority over foreign affairs.	This amendment and its subsequent modification confirmed the central government's exclusive authority over foreign policy, strengthening the constitutional basis for PMO's coordinating role in international relations and treaty-making processes.
