For Prelims preparation, focus on memorizing specific details of foundational agreements - their full forms, signing years, and key provisions. Create a timeline of major developments from 2004 NSSP to 2023 INDUS-X.

Memorize joint exercise names, their focus areas, and participating services. Keep updated with recent arms deals, their values, and strategic significance. Practice questions on MDP status implications and DTTI framework.

Pay special attention to current affairs developments, particularly high-level visits, new agreements, and policy announcements. Use elimination techniques by understanding what each agreement does NOT cover - for example, LEMOA is not for combat operations.

Create comparison charts between different strategic partnerships to avoid confusion. Focus on factual accuracy for dates, names, and specific provisions as UPSC often tests precise knowledge.
