Child Labour Laws — Definition

Definition
Child-labour law implementation is the chain of inspection, evidence, legal action and rehabilitation that turns a prohibition into practical protection. It requires identifying the relevant work and age category, establishing responsibility and following the child's situation after removal from unlawful employment.
The amended 1986 Act includes inspection and district-level implementation provisions as well as a rehabilitation-fund mechanism. These functions are not interchangeable: a rescue count does not establish a completed prosecution or fund payment.
Effective administration keeps responsibility visible at each stage and tests whether protection is sustained.
