For NEET prelims, a strong conceptual understanding of the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry is paramount. Each principle should be memorized along with a clear example. Focus on understanding the 'why' behind each principle – why is it important, and what problem does it solve?

For numerical problems, practice atom economy calculations thoroughly. Remember the formula and how to correctly identify the desired product and total reactants. Pay attention to the wording of questions; they often describe a scenario and ask you to identify the most relevant principle.

Be wary of trap options that describe general benefits (like 'less waste') when a more specific principle (like 'safer solvents') is directly applicable. Create flashcards for each principle and its key examples.

Regularly review the differences between traditional and green chemistry approaches. For conceptual questions, eliminate options that represent misconceptions about Green Chemistry (e.g., 'eliminating all chemicals').
