Apprenticeship Rules 20152015The Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2015, G.S.R. 502(E) dated 16 June 2015, inserted rule 7A on optional-trade apprentices. Its provisions included disclosure of training duration and syllabus, a work diary countersigned by a supervisor, an uploaded apprenticeship contract and assessment and certification arrangements. The change is relevant to vocational education because it links workplace participation with a defined learning process.Suppose two programmes each report one hundred enrolments. That count does not show whether either delivered its syllabus or assessed the intended skills. Training records and assessment create evidence against which delivery can be examined, though paperwork alone cannot establish competence. Use the 2015 change to explain this accountability problem; current stipend amounts, duration limits and establishment quotas require later legal instruments and are not asserted here.
