Green Technology — Revision Notes

⚡ 30-Second Revision

Revision checked 17 October 2026.

  • Define the service and pressure.
  • Prevention differs from treatment.
  • Follow the life cycle.
  • Compare intensity and totals.
  • Verify delivery and residual handling.

2-Minute Revision

A green claim needs a baseline, a useful function and a boundary. Design can prevent hazards, reduce input intensity or support recovery. Operational gains do not describe every life-cycle stage. Compare equivalent services, account for activity changes and check whether implementation conditions support continuing performance.

5-Minute Revision

Original appraisal drill: a supplier promises a cleaner process because it buys less solvent. Request comparable output, solvent hazards, energy use and residual-stream data. Distinguish prevention from waste treatment. Then specify maintenance and monitoring needs. Write a conclusion limited to what the evidence establishes, followed by the unresolved question that would most affect the decision.

Vyyuha Quick Recall

CLEAN: Comparable service; Life-cycle boundary; Evidence; Activity totals; No shifted burden left unexamined.
