Mains Strategy

Begin with the particular gap between belief, feeling and behaviour described in the question. Identify the attitude object and use the ABC framework only where it clarifies the case. A paragraph defining each term without application will not explain the administrative problem.

Examine practical constraints before recommending persuasion. A household may support waste segregation but lack separate collection; a worker may favour public transport but have no service at the required time. Information can address a mistaken belief, while service design addresses an unavailable option. Where prejudice or group influence is involved, propose an intervention suited to that mechanism and explain its limitations.

Evaluate change through relevant behaviour and conditions, not declarations alone. A survey response can indicate an attitude without proving consistent action. Conclude with a combination of credible communication, feasible opportunities and feedback. This treats people as decision-makers in a real context rather than assuming that a moral appeal or an additional awareness campaign is sufficient to change conduct.
