Marine resources encompass all forms of wealth, both living and non-living, found within the ocean environment, from the surface waters to the deepest seabed. These resources are vital for human sustenance, economic development, and ecological balance, playing a pivotal role in global trade, food security, energy production, and climate regulation.

From a beginner's perspective, it's crucial to understand that the ocean is not just a vast body of water but a dynamic ecosystem teeming with diverse resources that have shaped human civilization and continue to drive innovation.
