Create a two-column map of institutions and principal functions, then add dates separately. This prevents a familiar year from being attached to the wrong body. ICMR's 1949 name change should be distinguished from the 1911 establishment of its predecessor, while CSIR's 1942 origin and DST's 1971 establishment concern different organisations.

Within ISRO, compare the function named in the option: launch-vehicle development, satellite development, launch operations, payload applications and remote-sensing services are related but distinct. An option with a genuine centre name can still be wrong because the role has been swapped. Do not infer present counts of centres or laboratories from an older publication.

For ANRF, retain the 2023 Act and research-support role. Funding, strategic direction and collaboration are not equivalent to directly conducting every project or replacing specialised agencies. In application questions, identify whether the proposed task concerns research support, biomedical investigation, industrial research or a space mission before choosing the institution.
