Plant Biology is the scientific study of plants, covering everything from their tiniest cellular components to their vast ecological roles and economic significance. Imagine a plant – a tree, a flower, a blade of grass.

Plant biology delves into how these organisms grow, reproduce, adapt to their environment, and interact with other living things. It's a vast field that explores the fundamental processes that sustain life on Earth.

At its core, plant biology examines the plant cell, which is the basic unit of life for all plants. Unlike animal cells, plant cells have a rigid cell wall, a large central vacuole, and chloroplasts, which are the sites of photosynthesis.
