⚡ 30-Second Revision
- Checked 18 October 2026.
- NISAR: NASA L-band + ISRO S-band; launch 30 July 2025; science-phase update 28 November 2025; twelve-day repeat.
- Launch, commissioning and service delivery are different milestones.
2-Minute Revision
Separate vehicle, payload, orbit and sensor. Space applications need ground control, data processing and informed users. Match the instrument to the question and verify mission outcomes from dated records. A data product supports decisions; it does not automatically deliver the public-service result.
5-Minute Revision
Draw the path from launch to a verified disaster map and a field decision. Label the NISAR instrument contributions and two 2025 milestones. Explain why a repeat cycle is not continuous observation and why validation remains necessary before a local administrative conclusion.
Vyyuha Quick Recall
LIFT: Launch the payload; Instruments commissioned; Findings processed; Teams act on evidence.
