Conceptual questions testing the logarithmic nature of the scale, the effect of temperature on neutral pH, and the distinction between acid/base strength and concentration are also common. Mastering pH calculations requires strong arithmetic skills, especially with logarithms, and a clear understanding of equilibrium principles.
